Megan Schemmel is a Chicago-based stage actress and singer/performer.

Born in Shawnee, Kansas, as one of nine children, Megan earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and Voice at the University of Kansas, and attended high school at Bishop Miege in Shawnee Mission, KS.

She moved to Chicago in 2002 with an eagerness to perform. Dancing, singing, acting -- you name it! To go along with performing, Megan is loving a city that is full of outlets and groups that support creativity, talent, and a non-stop willingness to have a good time.
